PESHAWAR: A non-governmental organisation, Chapirchal, has arranged a free-medical camp for deserving patients, mostly elderly men, women and children of Hajizai village, in Charsadda district.
A total of 400 patients were examined and provided free medicine. Despite this, free sugar tests were also done, said a press release. The camp was arranged under the supervision of medical specialist Dr Ramiz, children’s specialist Dr Idrees and gynaecologist Dr Lubna Jehanzeb.
“Non-availability of balanced diet and lack of cleanliness are the main causes of widespread diseases in the area,” Dr Ramiz said. Local elders and female patients praised Chapirchal for arranging the camp.
