Seven arrested in Chagai
QUETTA: Three men were reportedly killed Friday in exchange of fire with police in Killi Qambrani area within jurisdiction of PS Kechi Baig in the provincial capital.
The police sources said the police launched search in Killi Qambrani following intelligence and cordoned off a house which led to exchange of fire between the police, and the armed men hid themselves in the house.
As a result, three suspects were killed in gunbattle with police. The police claimed that they also seized weapons and ammunition from the house. The bodies were shifted to hospital morgue. The police have investigating into the incident.
Meanwhile, law enforcement agencies arrested at least seven suspects from Pak-Afghan border area in Chagai district Friday. Law enforcement agencies on a tip-off conducted a raid at a house and arrested seven suspects.
Arms, ammunition, hate material and suicide jackets were also recovered from their possession. The suspects were hiding in a house at Killi Hazoor Bakhsh area. The suspects were shifted to an undisclosed location for further interrogation.
