DASKA: Locals were robbed of cash and other valuables in the city area on Thursday.
Hussain Butt and his wife were riding a motorcycle and near Lorry Adda two robbers intercepted them and snatched cash, gold ornaments and a cell phone from them.
Mahmood parked his motorcycle outside a mosque and when he came back, he found it missing.
Zafar Iqbal, Sultan and Adnan allegedly stole two goats from out house of Shahid Mahmood.
FAKE CHEQUE CASE: Motra police Thursday registered a case against atwo men on charges of issuing a fake cheque.
Masood and Hanif gave Rs 1,400,000 loan to accused Mohsin and Abdul Sattar. When they demanded the cash, they were given cheques that bounced.
SUICIDE BID: A girl tried to attempt suicide in the area of Motra police.
The girl exchanged harsh words with her mother and took poisonous pills and was shifted to civil hospital.
