SHO’s comments sought in plea against Qadri
LAHORE: An additional district and sessions court on Tuesday sought comments from SHO Nawankot in a petition filed by a PML-N worker seeking a case against PAT chief Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri allegedly inciting people against state, spreading anarchy and declaring the elected prime minister of the country and its leadership traitor.
Petitioner Shaikh Muzaffar Hussain submitted to the court that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was elected by the people of this country and his cabinet was making efforts to steer the country out of darkness and other problems faced by the masses.
He implored that on September 4, Dr Tahir-ul-Qadri delivered his speech to his followers and workers where he declared PM and Punjab CM the agents of India and levelled the allegation of traitor on them which hurt those elected the PML-N.
He prayed to the court to direct the SHO concerned to register an FIR against the aforesaid accused for levelling allegation of traitor on PML-N chief Nawaz Sharif and his brother, spreading anarchy and inciting people against the state.
