Man murdered by rivals

OKARA: A man was killed and his niece injured over an old enmity near Chak 3/1-R.
Muhammad Mumtaz with his niece Zainab was going to Chak 8/1-R when his rival Nazeer alias Jeera along with his two unidentified accomplices allegedly stabbed him to death. The accused also injured Zainab. Renala Sadr police have registered a case and started investigation.
TWO INJURED: Four dacoits injured two security guards at hospital bazaar on Saturday night.
Four dacoits came to hospital bazaar and tried to loot a sweet shop but the guards offered resistance to them. It infuriated the dacoits and they injured guards Ashraf and Faqir Muhammad. Police are investigating.
