OKARA: An additional sessions judge of Depalpur Saturday awarded death sentence and Rs 200,000 fine to a killer of his brother-in-law.
Maqbool Ahmad of Mohallah Raeespura was married with the sister of Ghulam Farid. Maqbool also wanted to get married with another woman and Ghulam Farid had forbidden him from the second marriage. In 2012, Maqbool and Ghulam Farid exchanged harsh words over the issue and Farid had shot dead Maqbool. Depalpur police had registered the murder case.
