KP Assembly speaker visits University of Swabi
SWABI: The first academic block of University of Swabi has been inaugurated by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Speaker Asad Qaiser as a chief guest.
Chief Minister Inspection Team Chairman Akhtar Ali Shah accompanied him at the inaugural ceremony. Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Noor Jehan was also present. The speaker was briefed on the new campus and ongoing developmental works on the site.
He was informed that soon after getting the required land, construction work had been started on the boundary wall and five blocks. The work is nearing completion. Asad Qaiser greeted the participants for having the first academic block and declared it a milestone. He hoped the university would join the ranking of the top universities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the near future. The speaker praised the efforts of the vice-chancellor and other staff members for providing ensuring quality education at the varsity.
