Woman killed by rivals

OKARA: A woman was killed by her rivals at Bahmaiwala village near Satghara.
According to the police, there was an enmity between Muhammad Azam and Shahbaz. On Wednesday night, Shahbaz with his accomplices came to the house of Azam and allegedly opened indiscriminate fire. As a result, Azam’s wife Iram was killed on the spot. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
TWO ARRESTED: Chuchak police arrested two people on the charges of illegally selling SIMS here.
Police, on a tip-off, raided the shop of Shafqat Ali at Bazida village and arrested him after he failed to produce the permission letter to sell SIMs. The police also arrested Muhammad Boota of Chuchak village on the same charges. Separate cases have been registered against the accused.
