Ex-SI shot dead in revenge

HAFIZABAD: A former police sub-inspector was shot dead in revenge in Vigwan village of Hafizabad on Thursday.
Reportedly, six months ago, former SI Rai Saifullah’s son Saddam Hussain abducted the daughter of Imdadullah. On the day of the incident, Imdad and his accomplices shot dead Saifullah when he was on the way to his village.
OBITUARY: The mother of ex-district education officer Mehr Shamshad Ali died on Thursday at Bijli Mohallah after a brief illness. She was buried at the native graveyard.
