Militant arrested in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: The police on Wednesday arrested a suspected militant and seized two bombs placed under a bridge, an official said.

Speaking at a press conference, City Police Station in-charge Imran Khan said that the cops during snap checking arrested one Abdul Samad and grilled him.

He said the accused led the police party to the bridge near Swat River, where he had planted two bombs. The police later took the accused to a secret location.
