Two killed in Peshawar
HANGU: Three people were killed and another was injured in separate incidents of violence here on Tuesday, official sources said.
The sources said that unidentified gunmen shot and injured two labourers identified as Hanif and Akbar in Raeesan village in Hangu district.The labourers were taken to hospital where one of them succumbed to his injuries while the other was stated to be in critical condition.
The motive behind the crime couldn’t be ascertained.Separately, the body of a missing person identified as Akhtar, son of Wali Aman, was recovered from Speen Thall village in Thall.The body of a 25-year-old person, who had gone missing from Thall a few days back, was recovered from Kurram Agency.The police registered cases and started investigation.

Also, one Ghulam Mohammad was shot dead in the limits of Mathra Police Station. Meanwhile, the police on Tuesday busted a gang of robbers and arrested its five members in Gulbahar locality in the provincial capital on Tuesday.
Superintendent of Police (City Circle) Gul Nawaz along with Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Gulbahar Rukhan Zeb and other officials told reporters that an Afghan woman named Maryam approached a family in Gulbahar to get the job of a housemaid.
The next day the woman along with four armed men broke into the house and looted Rs1 million and 50 tolas of gold.The police arrested Maryam, her spouse Janbaz, a lady health worker Gulalai and their two accomplices Farzand and Rahmat.
The police said the woman used to approach well-off families to get the job of housemaid and has robbed many houses in the past.Mortar shell recovered in Swat: The police on Tuesday recovered a mortar shell from a roadside in Kabal tehsil of Swat district, police sources said.They said that a man spotted a mortar shell while cleaning a drain in Akhun Killay and informed the police.
