5,742 students appear for MBBS entrance test in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD: As many as 5,742 students appeared here for the entrance test for admission to MBBS, University of Health Sciences, in two examination centres established at the University of Agriculture, Faisalabad, and the Government College Women University.
The UAF was made examination centre for boys where 2,024 students appeared. UAF Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan and DCO Salman Ghani inspected the arrangements and visited the examination halls at the UAF. Foolproof arrangements were ensured at the campuses. During his visit, the DCO said that all possible arrangements had been ensured in the city in order to facilitate the students appearing in the test. He appreciated the role and contribution of the UAF for providing facilities to candidates and their parents. He directed officials concerned to leave no stone unturned to fulfill the expectation of the students. UAF VC Prof Dr Iqrar Ahmad Khan said that tangible measures were taken for the candidates. He said that the UAF organises test every year for the national cause and social responsibility. He said that the UAF was committed to ensure quality education at par with international standards. UAF Registrar Muhammad Hussain, University of Health Sciences Coordinator Muhammad Ramzan, UAF Principal Officer Public Relations and Publications Dr Jalal Arif, DO Health Dr Asif Shahzad and others were also present.
