Two TMA officials held on corruption charge

GUJRANWALA: The Anti-Corruption Establishment arrested two TMA officials on the charges of corruption here on Friday.
In an application, Gujrat TMA daily wager Waheed alleged that Supervisor Khalid Pervez and Sanitary Inspector Allah Rakha had received Rs 40,000 bribe from him and now they were demanding more bribe to regularise his job.
ACE Circle Officer Rana Nawaz along with Special Magistrate raided the TMA office and held the two officials when they were allegedly receiving Rs 22,000 bribe from the applicant. A case has been registered.
Order to arrest SHO for corruption

GUJRANWALA: Anti-Corruption Establishment Director Rana Abdul Shakoor has ordered arrest of the Alipur Chattha SHO for corruption.
In an application, Gulzar Ahmad of Noshera Virkan alleged that SHO Iqbal Goraya while his posting at Noshera Virkan police station implicated him in a case. Later, the accused SHO released him after receiving Rs 200,000 and rice crop worth Rs 250,000 as bribe, he added. To it, an inquiry was conducted in which the allegations proved and the SHO was declared guilty.
