Rain inundates Jhang city areas

JHANG: The heavy rain on Wednesday exposed all tall claims of the TMA as half of the city areas inundated due to alleged inefficiency of the administration.
After the rain, several areas, including Basti Attawali, New Eidgah Road and Toba Road, were totally inundated, created problems for the people. The people have demanded the authorities take steps for better sewerage system in the city to drain rainwater. On the other hand, DCO Ghazi Amanullah on phone told that he had received several complaints about the TMA sanitation staff inefficiency during rain. He told that necessary directions had already been issued to the ADC, TMO and other officials to ensure drain of rainwater.
