People urged to promote tolerance

JHANG: Additional District Collector Awais Malik has urged the people to promote tolerance in the society.
Addressing a function organised by an NGO here on Thursday, he said that the Punjab government had increased budget for health and education sectors to minimise the public grievances. He said that the district administration was working for provision of clean drinking water in the city by establishing the latest water treatment plants. The ADC said that he was trying his best to improve performance of the sanitation branch and other staffers. He said that he was taking steps for overall cleanliness of the city.
