35 wheelie doers arrested

FAISALABAD: Faisalabad police Saturday arrested 35 wheelie doers.
Following directions of CPO Afzal Ahmad Kausar, Peoples Colony, Samanabad and Madina Town police and arrested 35 wheelie doers. The accused have been booked under the Motor Vehicle Ordinance and various sections of the PPC.
25 PROTESTERS BOOKED: Sadar Police Saturday booked 25 protesters of Islampura on charges of ransacking Taj Colony sub-divisional office of the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (Fesco) and torturing its employees.
The police booked the protesters on the report of SDO Abu Bakr.
VARSITY DELEGATION: A delegation of the GC Women University comprising 23 female students and three faculty members left for Quetta on Saturday to console with the bereaved families of the Quetta tragedy.
Condemning the Quetta attack, Prof Naureen Aziz Qureshi, Vice Chancellor of the Women University, asked the delegation members to express solidarity with the bereaved families and offer Fateha for the departed souls.
WOMAN COMMITS SUICIDE: A woman committed suicide in Madni Chowk on Saturday.
Reportedly, Razia Bibi, a married woman of Madina Town, took poisonous pills over poverty and died at Civil Hospital.
