PM to visit M4 today
Security measures reviewed in Jhang

JHANG: Commissioner Momin Ali Agha and RPO Bilal Siddiq Kamyana reviewed security arrangements adopted at Motorway M4, Shorkot, for the visit of PM Nawaz Sharif on Aug 13 (today).
According to a press release issued by the DPO office, the commissioner and the RPO checked the sites of helipad and public meeting compound being prepared for the PM’s visit at Shorkot near M4. The senior police and administrative officers also discussed security measures with the Shorkot Rafiq Air Base commander. DPO Humayun Masood and DCO Ghazi Amanullah were also present during the security inspection, the press release added.
MNA EXPRESSES CONCERN OVER POSTING OF FEMALE TEACHER: PML-N MNA Ghulam Bibi Bharwana on Friday expressed concern over posting of a female teacher at a male government school in her constituency NA-88.
In her written recommendation letter No 4463/Admin, MNA Ghulam Bibi Bharwana asked the EDO Education to personally examine the proposal of transfer of MSc (IT) female schoolteacher to the Government Boys Primary School, Dhanowala, Tehsil Jhang, whereas a male teacher was already posted at the school, which had a very less number of students. The MNA said that clerical staff of the Education Department would not be allowed to misinterpret latest transfer policy of teachers in the district. She said that departmental record of teachers was in the custody of the Education Department offices but hundreds of teachers were wandering to collect their service record from different offices. She said that lower grade female schoolteachers should be posted in the schools of their respective union councils and residential rural areas. She said that she was informed that some clerical staff was misinterpreting the transfer policy of the Education Department in the district and she would informed the Punjab CM about the situation. When contacted, EDO Education Nasim Ahmed Zahid said that the recommendations and observation of the MNA about transfer of female teachers of her constituency had been received in his office and appropriate action would be taken in this regard.
