Religious leaders see Indian hand in Quetta blasts
LAHORE
Religious leaders strongly condemned the twin bomb blasts in Quetta hospital killing 65 people and wounding scores of others, terming it an act of Indian agents to avenge Pakistan’s bold stance against India in SAARC conference and recent weeks.
Jamaat-i-Islami Ameer Senator Siraj-ul-Haq said the heinous bomb attacks were the work of RAW and KHAD, and demanded the government to expose the real culprits behind the attack and bring them to the book.
He said 95,000 innocent citizens had been martyred and the entire nation was under constant fear for the last 12 years.
He said India’s involvement in subversion in Pakistan had already exposed by the arrest of RAW agent Kalbhoshan Yadev. He asked rulers to invite all the stakeholders in Balochistan and also hold dialogue with Baloch leaders sitting outside the country.
Jamiat Ulema-e-Pakistan (JUP) president Pir Ijaz Hashmi and Punjab president Qari Zawwar Bahadur termed Quetta blasts an attack on entire country and warned that it was the result of rulers’ slackness in giving due attention and seriousness towards national security.
They held Indian and Israeli agents behind the attack and said it was time the government showed the proofs of Indian involvement in subversion against Pakistan to entire world to present its case against India.
Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chief Dr Tahirul Qadri said those who killed innocent patients and lawyers were not human beings and did not deserve any concession.
He said the attack exposed government’s claims of ensuring foolproof security, and was a result of slackness in enforcing National Action Plan.
