PHF names development squad for 9-a-side tourney

KARACHI: Pakistan Hockey Federation (PHF) has added a sixth team for the First 9-A-Side tournament which commences on August 7 at Karachi’s Abdul Sattar Hockey Stadium.

PHF Development Squad comprises promising players who are on the fringes of national senior and junior teams. These boys are not part of any of the five departments that are PIA, WAPDA, NBP, SSGC and Customs.

PHF Development Squad:

Goalkeepers: Talal Khalid (Sialkot), Hafiz Umair (Faisalabad)

Full-Backs: Aaqib Ali (Gojra), Abu Bakr (Gojra), Ali Raza (Gojra)
