50 wheelie-doers held

FAISALABAD: City traffic police in a crackdown arrested 50 wheelie-doers on Saturday.
Police sent names of 188 wheelie-doers to the police higher authorities.
Talking to The News, Chief Traffic Officer Arif Shahbaz Khan Wazir said Traffic Wardens have been directed to continue their drive with special focus on the accused, who create disturbance on roads by riding motorcycles in groups.
He said the police arrested the accused in one day operation.
SCHOLARSHIPS: A ceremony was held at GC Women University where the sixth installment of Interloop Scholarships amounting to Rs 1,140,000 was distributed among 57 talented students of the varsity.
On the occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Naureen Aziz Qureshi exhorted the recipients of the scholarships and urged the recipients to focus on their studies.
