DI Khan BISE announces FA/FSc results
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: The Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Dera Ismail Khan on Friday announced the FA/FSc 2016 examination results.
A girl student of Saint Helens Higher Secondary School, Faiza Zaman, secured 991 marks out of the total 1100 and topped the examination. Safiullah of the Al-Abbas Science School and College stood second by obtaining 971 marks. Sohail Babar of the Qurtaba Public School and College secured 970 marks and bagged the third position.
A total of 12,025 students appeared in the examination. Around 8,253 students passed the examination with the passing percentage of 68.63. A ceremony to distribute prize and awards among the top position holders was held.
Commissioner of Dera Ismail Khan Dr Akhtar Nazir Warraich was chief guest on the occasion. He distributed cash and certificates among the top position-holders. The top position holder was given Rs50, 000 cash award, second position holder Rs45, 000 while the third position holder student received Rs40, 000 cash.
