PO killed in police encounter

OKARA: A proclaimed offender was killed in an encounter with Depalpur City police on Tuesday night.
Police received information that three outlaws were robbing people of cash and valuables at City Bypass. Following the information, police rushed to the spot. Seeing police, the dacoits opened fire on them. Police also retaliated. As a result, one of the three outlaws was killed on the spot while the others fled. The killed dacoit was later identified as proclaimed offender Zahid alias Zahdu.
