Kasur AC takes possession of 72 shops from Qabza mafia

KASUR: On the directions of the secretary education, Kasur AC Shah Rukh Niazi Tuesday took possession and sealed 72 shops that were constructed on the government land by Qabza mafia.
The Anjumen Hanfia Islamia had established educational institutions and handed over them to the education department. These institutions ran for 20 years and then a Qabza mafia with the convenience of the officials of district administration and revenue department demolished one section of the institutions and constructed 72 shops near NBP chowk.
Last night following directions of the secretary education and DCO Kasur, the AC with the heavy contingents of police took possession of the shops and sealed them.
According to the AC, all shops would be demolished to construct the institutions’ building again by the education department. The Qabza mafia has been using the shops commercially since the last 25 years.
