DPO awards cops

CHAKWAL: District Police Officer (DPO) Munir Masood Marth Tuesday awarded cash prizes and certificates to police officials of Neela police station in a ceremony for showing good performance.
SHO Inspector Faisal Manzoor, Sub-inspector Muhammad Aslam, ASIs Mujahid Iqbal, Ishfaq Sajid, head constables Muhammad Saeed, Adeel Ahmed, Muhammad Kamran, Sajid Saqlain, Khurram Abbas, constables Akhtar Hussain, Naeem Raza, Muhammad Akram, Zulfiqar Haider, Nazir Khan, Shahid Mehmood, Tassawar Hussain, Amir Abdullah, Junaid Hussain and Abdul Jalil.
On the occasion, the DPO said police is not a force but a service rendered to the general public.
He said police must ensure the rule of law in the district.
He said honest police officials’ role in maintaining law and order situation would be acknowledged.
