Drummer killed in jubilant firing

FAISALABAD: A drummer was killed in jubilant firing at a marriage function at Chak 366/GB.
The drummer, Arif Hussain, was performing in the marriage function of Muhammad Akbar when some of the participants allegedly resorted to aerial firing. As a result, Arif was injured seriously. He died on way to a hospital. Police have registered a case against the bridegroom and others.
WOMAN DIES IN ROOF COLLAPSE: A woman was killed and three others of her family were injured in a roof collapse at Roshanwala Bypass.
Daulat Bibi, her father, sister and daughter were present in their house when its roof collapsed. As a result, Daulat Bibi was killed on the spot while the others were injured. The recent rains caused the roof collapse.
