Aisam, Nestor lose German Tennis C’ship final

KARACHI: Pakistan’s tennis ace Aisam-ul-Haq Qureshi and his Canadian partner Daniel Nestor lost in the final of German Tennis Championship at Hamburg, Germany on Sunday.
Third seeds Aisam and Nestor, ranked 45th and 11th, respectively, were beaten by second seed duo of Henri Kontinen of Finland and John Peers of Australia 5-7, 3-6.
Earlier, they had beaten the unseeded pair of Guillermo Duran of Argentina and Jonathan Elrich of Israel 6-4, 6-1 in the semi-final of this ATP-500 event.
