Shujaat phones Siraj, Qureshi over ToRs
LAHORE
Pakistan Muslim League-Q President and former prime minister Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain has held telephonic conversation with Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Senator Sirajul Haq and senior leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) Shah Mahmud Qureshi.
Shah Mahmud Qureshi telephoned Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and consulted him regarding proposed Terms of Reference (ToRs) of the inquiry commission on Panama Leaks and exchanged views about expected All Parties Conference.
According to a press release issued here Tuesday, Shujaat Hussain telephoned JI Amir Senator Sirajul Haq in Karachi and felicitated him on performing Umrah. Both leaders are expected to meet in Islamabad in next few days. Shujaat Hussain also telephoned Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen Secretary Raja Nasir Abbas and said that even after such a long sit-in of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen the government was not paying any attention to their problems and demands which was quite deplorable.
In another press release, Ch Shujaat Hussain condemned in the most strong words massacre of Kashmiris in occupied Kashmir by the Indian rulers and army and said that Kashmiris were burying their martyrs in Pakistani flag whereas Pakistani rulers were restricted to mere formal statements over holi of their blood. In a statement, he said that our rulers should not have friendship with Modi at the cost of precious blood of the Kashmiris, Pakistani rulers should adopt bold and concrete stance instead of mere lip service, world conscience should be shaken up over Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir, embassies in foreign countries be activated and the comity of nations reminded their promise of getting the Kashmiris right of self-determination.
He said the new wave of liberation in occupied Kashmir which had taken birth following martyrdom of Burhanuddin Wani was picking up tempo with every passing day and so far dozens of Kashmiris had embraced martyrdom and hundreds were seriously wounded. Ch Shujaat Hussain said that agenda of partition of the sub-continent was incomplete until the affiliation of Kashmir with Pakistan; Modi government is resorting to every tactic to stop this move but despite continuous increase in strength of Indian army in occupied Kashmir and all sorts of atrocities and oppression, spirit of affiliation with Pakistan is gaining momentum among the Kashmiris, Pakistan should through concrete, effective and result-oriented planning make this wave of liberation source for implementation of UN Resolutions on Kashmir whereas all political and religious parties of Pakistan should adopt concrete stance in this regard.
