Traders block road against Gepco

HAFIZABAD: Traders and shopkeepers of Sabzi Mandi staged a demonstration against Gepco here on Monday.
They also blocked Kolo Road to register their protest against the Gepco. They said that the Sabzi Mandi had been without electricity for the last 15 days. They said that they had repeatedly contacted the Gepco officials for restoration of power supply but to no avail. The traders said that they had been facing a number of problems due to power suspension. The protesters have demanded the Gepco chief order the officials to restore power supply to the market.
BODY RECOVERED: Sadr police recovered the body of a man from Upper Chenab Canal near Head Sagar on Monday. According to police, unidentified people killed Dilshad of Nokhar village, Gujranwala district, and threw his body in the canal.
