Woman dies in bid to reconcile warring brothers

OKARA: A woman was killed while trying to resolve a dispute between her two brothers at Satghara.
Asghar and Muhammad Hussain were quarrelling with each other over some domestic dispute when their sister Khalida Bibi intervened and tried to resolve the issue. In the meantime, Asghar allegedly attacked his brother with an axe but it hit Khalida, killing her on the spot. Satghara police have registered a case.
MAN KILLED BY RIVALS: A man and his two sons killed their rival over a land dispute at Siddiqnagar.
There was a land dispute between Ashraf Mughal and Said. Ashraf was going to his field to bring fodder when Said and his sons Latif and Hanif allegedly stabbed him to death. Shergarh police have registered a case.
