Man kidnapped, murdered

OKARA: Four unidentified men kidnapped a man and murdered him at village 29/2R on Saturday.

Reportedly, the motorcyclist kidnapers kidnapped Javed Iqbal, son of Muhammad Ismail from his house and left his dead body in fields after eight hours. The body carried torture signs and his mouth was wrapped with cloth. Sadr Okara police registered a case.

TWO SISTERS ABDUCTED: Two sisters were abducted by seven people in Mehboob Town on Saturday. Accused Shaukat Ali, Ahmad Yar, Ihtesham, Attiq and their accomplices abducted two sisters Memoona and Muqaddas Bibi from a bazaar. Sadr Okara police registered a case.

 

Edhi passing away condoled

OKARA: Citizens condoled passing away of Abdus Sattar Edhi and termed his death a big loss for the county.

The people offered fateha for his departed soul and expressed their feelings of sorrow with one another recalling his indiscriminate services for grieved humanity.

A funeral prayer in absentia was arranged by the Rescue-1122 officials and a large number of people including District Coordination Officer Sucrat Aman Rana, District Police Officer Muhammad Faisal Rana, Edhi Foundation’s Chaudhry Fayyaz Zafar and Chaudhry Habibul Haq attended it.
