Army Jawan embraces Shahadat in Chitral

SUKKUR: An Army Jawan of Khairpur embraced Shahadat while rescuing victims of Chitral flood. Reports said Muhammad Yunus Mallah, belonging to Khohra town of Khairpur, was martyred in Chitral during the rescue and relief operation in Chitral flood on Tuesday.
His body reached here from Chitral and he was laid to rest at Syed Mohsin Shah Graveyard. Lt Col Usman Sajjad, Major Muhammad Ali and others attended the funeral rites.
On the occasion, they conveyed the message of the Chief of Army Staff to Ghulam Qadir Mallah, father of Shaheed Muhammad Yunus Mallah and handed over to him the uniform and clothes of his martyred son. They said that Yunus Mallah was brave and embraced Shahadat during the relief and rescue operation.
