Pakistan to stay till end of time: Qadri
LAHORE
Pakistan was created during the holy month of Ramazan and on the night of Shab-e-Qadr, so anyone who dares cast an evil eye on it will have to face dire consequences as Pakistan is here to stay till the end of time.
This was stated by Dr Tahirul Qadri, chairman of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, addressing participants in Shehr-e-Aitkaf here on Saturday. Thousands of men, women and children attended the special prayer session. He said Pakistan would stay strong till the end of time and continue to flourish and prove to be the castle of Islam.
He said all those who were misusing the name of Islam and cutting the throats of fellow Muslims would have to face the fires of Hell as that was their destiny.
Tahirul Qadri said that the people must reject narrow-minded approach and also reject extremism. He said Islam is a religion which preaches love, peace and brotherhood. "It teaches helping the poor, destitute and helpless and protect defenseless people, irrespective of their faith, creed, colour and religion," he added.
He said youths must learn the Arabic language to understand the real meaning of the Holy Quran.
Tahirul Qadri said the government had promised not to resort to loadshedding during Sehr and Iftari time but it could not happen and massive loadshedding was occurred during the times.
The PAT chairman said a small amount of subsidy was given on eatables but it was sad that poor people never got promised benefits of subsidy.
He said the remaining life was squeezed out of the people by the electricity bill which the people of the country had received before Eid. Tahirul Qadri offered special prayers for the well-being, prosperity and peace in Pakistan.
