OKARA: Police Friday arrested eight brick kiln owners on charges of violating Child Labour Act.Police arrested Muhammad Afzal, Pir Muhammad Yaseen, Muhammad Saleem, Muhammad Ismail and others and registered cases against them.
HELD FOR POOR SECURITY: Police arrested eight workers of petrol stations across the district on charges of poor security arrangements.
Police arrested Muhammad Iqbal, Muhammad Azam, Muhammad Asif, Ziaul Haq, Bakhtiar Ahmad and others for poor security arrangements at petrol stations. A private bus service manager Kashif Ali, hotel owner Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Iqbal and Farooq Ahmad managed to escape when police came. Police registered separate cases against them.
UNAUTHORISED NUMBER PLATES: Police arrested six people on charges of installing unauthorised number plates. Police arrested Muhammad Abbas, Awais Ali, Asadur Rehman, Ghulam Murtaza, Mazhar and Alam and registered separate cases against them.
