Three drown as van plunges into canal

HAFIZABAD: Three people, including a child, drowned, while five others were injured when a van fell into a canal near Qadirabad Barrage on Friday. A van was going to Mandi Bahauddin from Hafizabad when it fell into the canal due to overspeeding. As a result, 40-year-old Rehman Ali, five-year-old Habib and an unidentified man drowned while five others, including Qaisar and Sughran Bibi, were injured. They were shifted to the DHQ Hospital.
