Two of a family killed, one injured in Kohat firing

KOHAT: Two persons were killed while a 10-year-old girl sustained injuries in an armed clash between the members of a joint family in Jurma area of the district, official sources said on Friday.
They said the male members of a joint family opened fire at each other over a pity issue just before Iftar, leaving one Yar Habib and his nephew Safeer Muhammad dead while a minor girl Maryam sustained bullet wounds.
The accused fled the scene after committing the crime. The Jurma police registered separate cases against Taj Muhammad, the son of the deceased Yar Habib, and Ashiq, Tariq, Arif, and Shoaib of the rival group.
