Special desks to resolve farmers’ issues with sugar mills

OKARA: District Coordination Officer Sucrat Aman Rana Tuesday said special desks had been established in the offices of Assistant Commissioners to resolve payment issues of farmers with sugar mills. The DCO said according to the directions of the Punjab government, the sugar cane growers whose amounts were outstanding over sugar mills must contact the desks.
1,800 LITRE FAKE MILK SEIZED: The Depalpur Assistant Commissioner impounded a container with 1,800 liter fake milk. The AC was informed through a tip-off that fake milk was being prepared in Nawan Kot Lalianwala for its supply to Lahore. The AC impounded the fake milk container at Quaid-e-Azam Chowk and directed City Depalpur police to register a case against its owner Naveed.
