Four killed in road accident

OKARA: Four people, including a doctor and his son, were killed and three others injured in a road accident near Mianwali Qureshian.
Dr Abdullah Khalid of the district headquarters hospital, his nine-year-old son Muhammad Abdullah, friend Dr Rafiq of Renala Khurd, Latif, Nadeem, Sajid and Umar were going to Rahimyar Khan to participate in a religious congregation when their vehicle collided with a tractor-trolley while trying to avoid a cyclist. As a result, Dr Abdullah Khalid, his son Muhammad Abdullah, Dr Rafiq and Umer were killed on the spot while Latif, Nadeem and Sajid suffered critical injuries. They were shifted to a local hospital. The bodies have not reached Okara till the filing of the report.
