10 killed as coach plunges into gorge near Khuzdar

KHUZDAR: Ten people were killed and over 21 others injured when a coach plunged into a gorge near Khuzdar area of Balochistan on Monday. The coach, carrying passengers, was on its way to Karachi from Quetta via National Highway, when it fell into gorge near Pir Sama Bridge in Khuzdar area. As a result, 10 people were killed and over 21 injured, some of them critically. The passengers made hue and cry soon after the incident. Rescue authorities reached the scene and performed rescue operation. The children and women were among the injured. The bodies and injured were rushed to nearby hospitals for medico-legal formalities and treatment.
