30 suspects including notorious outlaw arrested in Kohat
KOHAT: Police on Monday arrested 30 suspects including a notorious outlaw and extortionist from Bilitang area in Kohat.
District Superintendent of Police (DSP), Saddar Circle, Hussain Ghulam Bangash, said that police conducted a raid at a house in Bilitang bazaar and arrested one Riffat Mehmood, a notorious outlaw. The outlaw was wanted to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police in various crimes including murder, attempted murder and kidnapping cases, he added.
Separately, police arrested an alleged extortionist identified as Faizullah and two persons accused of money laundering during raids in Nari Kak and Godi Banda areas of the district.These search and strike operations were led by Station House Officer, Bilitang Police Station, Muhammad Afzal Awan under National Action Plan. Over two dozens of other suspects were arrested during raids at various areas in Bilitang. Police also recovered arms from the possession of arrested suspects.
