OKARA: Police arrested an Afghan national on Thursday. On a tip-off, Okara Sadr police arrested a foreigner, who later introduced himself as Subhan Allah, of Kabul, Afghanistan. He was without any legal documents. Subhan told police that he was preaching Islam on the earth of Almighty Allah. Police registered a case against him.
DRUG PEDDLER GETS LIFE SENTENCE: Additional Sessions Judge Muhammad Nadeem Shaukat Thursday awarded life imprisonment and Rs 300,000 fine to a drug peddler. The City A-division police had recovered 300kg charas and 40kg opium from the car of Nadeem.
