Man kills wife for property

OKARA: A man killed his wife over a property issue at Hamaywala near Basirpur.
Sakeena Bibi had been living with her son Afzal after differences with her husband Muhammad Ali. Sakeena transferred her house in the name of her son Afzal. It infuriated M Ali and he came to the house Sakeena and allegedly axed her to death. Police have registered a case and started investigation.
Woman saves husband, but loses her life

OKARA: A woman lost her life while saving the life of her husband at Chak 5/GD.
There was a land dispute between Muhammad Aslam and his son Basharat Ali. On Thursday, Aslam allegedly started shooting at his son Basharat. In the meantime, Basharat’s wife Noreen Kanwal ran and stood before her husband. As a result, she died on the spot. Chuchak police have registered a case.
