HYDERABAD: A bomb blast on the railway track in Hyderabad city area disrupted railway traffic on Wednesday, as a Mirpurkhas-bound train just crossed the area five minutes before the incident. The blast damaged the track, which later was restored by the administration. After the explosion law-enforcing agencies personnel, police and Rangers reached the spot with the bomb disposal squad and restored the track for railway traffic within one hour. All the cargo trains going to Lahore and Karachi were stopped at different stations and after the restoration of the track, they were allowed to proceed to their destinations.
