Life: unaffordable

Life: unaffordable

I am writing to express my concern about the rising cost of living in Pakistan, which has become a significant burden for many families. For example, a family earning an average monthly income of Rs50,000 struggles to cover basic necessities like food, electricity, and transportation, leaving little for education, healthcare, or savings. This disparity between wages and living expenses is exacerbated by inflation and limited job opportunities, forcing many individuals into financial hardship and lowering their quality of life.

This situation calls for urgent government intervention to address these challenges. Policies to stabilise prices, increase wages, and create more job opportunities are crucial. Providing subsidies on essential goods and promoting skill development programmes could offer immediate and long-term relief. Improving the financial stability of households is essential to ensure a better standard of living for all citizens and foster a more sustainable and equitable economy.
