MULTAN: Activists of Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen staged a demonstration in front of Masjidul Hussain in New Multan Colony after the Friday prayers against the target killing of Shias across the country.

The MWM activists led by party south Punjab secretary general Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi chanted slogans against the target killing of Shias across the country. Speaking on the occasion, Allama Iqtidar Hussain Naqvi announced holding a big public meeting at Chowk Ghantha Ghar on June 12. He said that the public meeting was a part of a long march scheduled to be held after Eid.

FAISALABAD: Majlis Wahdatul Muslimeen and Imamia Students Organisation took out a rally against murder of Shia lawyers and teachers in Dera Ismail Khan and assassination of renowned social leader Khurram Zaki in Karachi.

The rally was led by Allama Ahsan Jafri, Husnain Sherazi and others.

The participants of the rally condemned the US drone attacks and demanded the Pakistan government raise the issue at an appropriate world forum.
