Couple killed in road accident

OKARA: A speeding bus killed a married couple on GT Road near Akhtarabad on Wednesday.
Elahi Buksh, of village 49/WD, Vehari, and his wife Nasreen Bibi were moving to Lahore on their motorcycle, near Akhtarabad on the GT Road a speeding bus hit them. As a result, they both died on the spot.
Renala Sadar police arrested the bus driver and impounded the bus after registering a case.
2 HOTEL OWNERS BOOKED: Assistant Commissioner Tahir Ameen Wednesday booked two hotel owners on charges of violating Ehtram-e-Ramazan Ordinance.
The AC booked Shafique of Kirparam factory and Sarfraz Ahmad of Muhammadpura as both were running hotels.
