Protest against tehsil officer

DASKA: Poultry shop owners Tuesday protested against the alleged misbehaviour of TO (Revenue).

Members of the association told reporters that TO (Revenue) Abdul Hayee allegedly disturbed them through different tactics and demanded bribe. They said they lodged applications against him but no action was taken.

PO HELPER BOOKED: Bombanwala police Tuesday registered a case against a man on charges of sheltering a proclaimed offender (PO).

Police on a tip-off raided a locality to arrest PO Khadam, but he was alerted by his accomplice and escaped.

VALUABLES SNATCHED: Cash and ornaments were snatched on Tuesday in City police limits.

Two robbers intercepted Junaid and his wife, who were going to their home from Daska. The robbers snatched thousands of rupees, gold ornaments and a cell phone from the couple.
