Three killed as PML-N, PPP workers clash in Charsadda

CHARSADDA: At least three persons were killed and two others injured when a clash erupted between workers of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Charsadda, on Thursday. The incident took place after supporters of one party insisted on fixing a party flag at a specific place. The furious workers opened fire on each other that left three killed and two others injured. The identity of the deceased and the injured could not be ascertained immediately. The bodies and the injured were shifted to the Leady Reading Hospital, Peshawar, for autopsy and treatment. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
