Action sought against Charsadda DHQ hospital MS
CHARSADDA: Residents of the Tangi tehsil of the Charsadda have asked the government to take action against the medical superintendent of the District Headquarters Hospital (DHQ) for his alleged corruption.
Speaking at a press conference here on Sunday, Sadiq Khan, Sartaj Halim, Inayat Khan and others said that the inquiry committee constituted by the government had recommended that Dr Muhammad Ali, MS DHQ, was involved in corruption and should not be appointed to managerial positions.
However, they said, that the government had ignored the inquiry committee’s report and appointed the accused doctor as district health officer and later posted him as medical superintended at the District Headquarters Hospital.
They said that district nazim had forwarded recommendation to the government to take action against Dr Muhammad Ali for his corruption. They lamented that the provincial health authorities had not taken any step on the recommendation of the district nazim. They warned of launching a protest campaign if the doctor was not transferred from the district.
