Notorious outlaw arrested in Kohat
KOHAT: The police Saturday arrested notorious outlaw Yousaf Shinwari alias Yousafi during a raid in the jurisdiction of Jangalkhel Police Station.
An official said a special campaign has been launched against criminals and proclaimed offenders on the directives of the district police officer Sohaib Ashraf.
During the raid, the sources said, the police were able to arrest Yousaf Shinwari and five other suspects.
Yousaf Shinwari and his nephews, Asim and Qasim, had allegedly murdered two brothers Muhammad Hasan Gul and Suleman and one Afghan national Habib Khan on March 12, 2016.
The police also recovered four hand-grenades, three Kalashnikovs, four pistols and ammunition from their possession. Region Police Officer Akhtar Hayat Khan Gandapur announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the police party.
The family members of the deceased brothers had appeared before the RPO Kohat and had requested for early arrest of murderers.
