‘PM cannot be exempted from Panama Leaks scam’

JHANG: PPP central leader and former Punjab governor Sardar Latif Khosa has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cannot be exempted from Panama Leaks scam.
He was addressing a press conference during his visit to the Jhang District Bar here on Saturday. Latif Khosa said that there would be no relief for public in the upcoming annual budget. He said that loadshedding had been increased and there was ever increasing unemployment in the country. The former governor said that the PPP was not disappointed over ToR’s differences between the government and opposition, adding that the PPP would continue struggle for democracy. He said that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s point of view about the Panama Leaks was very clear. Earlier, Sardar Latif Khosa was welcomed by the bar president Sufi Sanaullah Ranjha. Latif Khosa also asked the bar members to cast their vote in the favour of his son Khurram Latif Khosa during the Lahore High Court Bar election.
COMPENSATION CHEQUE: On the directions of Punjab CM Shahbaz Sharif, DOC Haroon Rashid on Saturday visited Kalri/Kooler village and handed over a compensation cheque of Rs 500,000 to the father of Saud who was killed in a hand-grenade explosion one day ago.
The DOC along with revenue officials also attended Qul of Saud. Later, he handed over the cheque to Khalid, father of Saud.
